Last week, our organization hosted its annual General Assembly, bringing together members, partners, and key stakeholders for a productive evening of governance, strategic alignment, and community building. The event served as both a reflection on our collective achievements and a definitive step forward into our next chapter.
Strategic Leadership Transitions
A primary focus of this year’s assembly was the evolution of our leadership team to better serve our growing community. We are pleased to formally announce two key appointments:
-
Executive Director: Following a decision by the Board, Dragana Nikolic (Enigmatry) has been appointed as our new Executive Director. Dragana brings a wealth of experience and a clear vision that will guide our operations and strategic initiatives moving forward.
-
Board of Directors: Through a community vote during the assembly, Dalibor Opacina (De Heus) was elected as the newest member of our Board. Dalibor’s industry expertise will be invaluable in shaping the high-level direction of our organization.
We extend our highest congratulations to both Dragana and Dalibor, and we look forward to their leadership in the coming year.
Member Insights and the Open Forum
Following the conclusion of the formal statutory proceedings, the floor was opened for our interactive Open Forum. This segment is a core pillar of our assembly, ensuring that our strategic roadmap directly reflects the needs of our ecosystem.
During the session, members actively shared insights, proposed new initiatives, and discussed the primary objectives they wish to see prioritized over the next twelve months. The feedback gathered during this forum will directly inform our upcoming calendar of events, advocacy efforts, and community programs.
Networking and Collaboration
The evening concluded with a networking cocktail reception on the terrace. This informal gathering provided a valuable space for members to reconnect, discuss potential collaborations, and reinforce the professional bonds that define our network.
We want to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this General Assembly, as well as H.E. Martijn Elgersma, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Serbia for hosting the General Assembly.
